Roseleen Wooten Brandon

Yadkinville-  Mrs. Roseleen Wooten Brandon, 88, of Tom Lauren Road passed away peacefully Saturday, July 21, 2018 at her home.  She was born February 14, 1930 in Yadkin County to the late Spencer and Rachel Hutchens Wooten.  Mrs. Brandon was retired as a secretary with Western Electric Inc. and AT&T. She enjoyed working with her crafts, in her flowers, cooking, and traveling with her husband.  Mrs. Brandon graciously volunteered her time for over 20 years at the W.G. Bill Hefner V.A. Medical Center in Salisbury.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Haynes, Hazel Matthews and brothers, George Wooten, Paul Wooten, and Ralph Wooten.  Surviving are her beloved and devoted husband of 64 years, Joseph Bailey “Joe” Brandon, of the home; her sister, Martha Hoots; and several nieces and nephews.  Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Howard Wagoner.  Burial will follow at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the V.A. National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of Iredell for their loving care and support.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Iredell, 2347 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.  Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.  Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Brandon Family.
