Roy Junior Hawks

Mr. Roy Junior Hawks, 70, passed away Saturday October 28, 2017. He was born May 22, 1947 in Yadkin County to the late Roy Bedford Hawks and Ruth Blevins Hawks. He is survived by his children Crystal (John) Keene and Nicky Ray Hawks; grandchildren Nathan (Casi) Reece, Nicholas Hawks, and Hayden Reavis; one great grandchild Nathan Reece Jr.; sisters Evon (Carl) Barnes, Judy (Gene) Cleary, Kathy (Eddie) Cave, Becky (Billy) Weatherman. Roy loved playing the piano, guitar, and his banjo and he loved his church and church family. A grave side service will be conducted Tuesday October 31, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Gospelway Baptist Church Cemetery with the Roy Eddleman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
