Royce Gene Ragan

Royce Gene Ragan passed into eternal rest and went home to our Lord on November 6, 2021. Royce was born on September 4th, 1954 in Dumas, Arkansas to Vivian Fregia Ragan and Ross Ragan. Devoted husband of Patti Ragan. Brother of Carolyn, Jerry (Barbara), Ann, Leroy (Kim), Chris, Brenda (Bobby) Henderson, Kenny, Pauline and Janet (Tommy) Ramsey. Preceded in death by his brother Jim Ragan and his parents. Father of Tonya and Treeana. Dear brother in-law of Katherine & Peter Smith, Charles & Kathleen Sutter and Joseph Sutter. Grandfather to 6 grandchildren and dear uncle to several nieces and nephews. Special friend of Hank and Thelma Durham and Elaine Nance.

Member of Yadkinville United Methodist Church where he sang with the Praise Team.  Royce loved to cook and to garden, and he was a gifted two-stepper. He will be dearly missed by many.

A celebration of life service on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Yadkinville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jonathan Gaylord officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday at the church. There will be a book out at Gentry Family Funeral Service for friends to come by and to sign on Friday November 19, 2021 from 8:00 am to 4:40 pm.
