Yadkinville-  Ruby Lois Hutchens, 91, of Yadkinville passed away on Saturday, August 25 2018, at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was born in Yadkin County, NC on November 11, 1927; daughter of the late William “Belt” R. Hutchens and Nellie Jane Spillman Hutchens. She was a member of Forbush Baptist Church and attended as long as she was able. Surviving include her sister, Hattie Vestal (Arthur George); two brothers; Billy Gene Hutchens, John Moses Hutchens (Shelby); sister-in-law, Annie B. Hutchens;  and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Melvin Hutchens and wife, Jesse, Rev. William L. Hutchens, and sister-in-law, Geraldine Hutchens. A celebration of life graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at Forbush Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Joe Souther and Rev. Justin Crouse officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church. A special thank you to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the care and love they showed Ms Hutchens during her stay there and for the family and friends that would go by and spend time with her.
