Ruby Jean Mastin Cox

Yadkinville Mrs. Ruby Jean Mastin Mauldin Cox, 81, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at Willowbrook Health Care. Mrs. Cox was born April 25, 1938 in Wilkes County to Eugene Mastin and Ruby Transou Freeman. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who loved her grandchildren dearly. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Cox; a grandson, Dustin Sebastian; a step grandson, Justin Royal; a great grandson, Korey Barber; and a brother, Larry Freeman. She is survived by four children, Cherri (Earl) Dunn, Errol (June) Mauldin, Frank (Stacy) Mauldin, and Jeff Mauldin; four step children, Tim (Kimberly) Cox, Barry (Teresa) Cox, Lisa Baldwin, and Betty Jo Sebastian (Terry Brown); grandchildren, Nicole, James, Julie, Candace, Amanda, Madison, Jennifer, Timothy, TJ, Gary, Ashley, Andrea, Tyler, and Amber; great grandchildren, Dunn, Salem, Scarlett, Alayna, Ava, Alyssa, Davin, Gabriel, Aubrie, Zoie, and Talia; a sister, Libby Ray; a brother, Eddie (Carol) Mastin; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday, April 29, 2019 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Kenny Gooden officiating. Burial will follow at Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Sunday evening at the funeral home.
