Elkin Ms. Ruby “Lorene” Holleman Caudle, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home. Lorene was born June 10, 1937 in Yadkin County to Walter and Ola Knight Holleman. She was a member of Mtn. View Baptist Church and enjoyed talking to everyone. In addition to her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Hathcock; four brothers, McKinley, Elgy, Gene and Lester Holleman; one sister, Lucille Snow; and her children’s father, Alvis Ray Caudle. She is survived by five daughters, Diane (Oliver) Tetrick, Judy (Serafin) Paloalto, Joyce (Roger) Hathcock, Janet (Donald) Sizemore, and Rhonda (Lester) Medley; grandchildren, Sara (Philip) Scott, Nathan Paloalto, Noah Paloalto, Brent (Stephanie) Hathcock, Kristy (Brian) Sanders, and Davey (Megan) Sizemore; great grandchildren, Luke & Isabella Burchette, Isaiah & Lilianna Scott, Ryan, Emily, & Carson Hathcock, Adaline and Sadie Sizemore; two sisters, Maxine Money and Marie Feimster; and two brothers, Raymond (Sadie) Holleman and Troy (Betty) Holleman. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Mtn. View Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the service at the church. The family will also be meeting at Lorene’s apartment to greet friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. View Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1232 Mountain View Church Rd, Hamptonville, NC 27020.
