Ruby Lee Pinnix

Ruby Lee Pardue Pinnix, 99 passed away on June 2, 2021. Ruby was born on December 20,1921 to the late Fletch and Alice Alma Eller Pardue. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Tony Mathis; sisers, Notra Cheek, Pauline (Sherman) Sparks, Blanche (Allen) Dobbins, Becky (Pete) Swaim; brother, Ruel (Vallie) Pardue.  Ruby attended Bethel Baptist Church in Ronda.  She loved to crochet and make baskets.  

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda Mathis, Dean Pinnix; grandchildren, Lisa (Ben) Roberts, Todd (Renieta) Mathis, Richie (Myra) Mathis, Kristen Stokes; great-grandchildren, Corey Roberts, Jake Roberts, Ethan (Christy) Mathis, Layken Mathis, Seth Mathis, Landrey Mathis, Ashton Jenkins, Harley Walker, Carmen Walker, and Jessie Walker.

The family is eternally grateful for the loving care given to Ms. Pinnix from Chatham Nursing Center and Mountain Valley Hospice.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials in her name may be made to Chatham Nursing Center, 700 Johnson Ridge Rd, Elkin, NC 28621

Ruby will be available for viewing on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 1:00 – 5 PM and Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 8:00 – 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  The graveside service will be at Bethel Baptist Church in Ronda at 11 AM on Saturday, June 5, 2021, officiated by Rev. Randy Johnson & Rev. Steve Fowler.
