Sandra "Sandy" Gail Mathis

Ms. Sandra “Sandy” Gail Mathis, 73, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was born April 29, 1951 in Wilkes County to the late Dean Daniel Mathis and Thelma Billings Mathis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Dale Mathis. She is survived by her sons, Blake (Angie) Johnson, Brock Johnson; granddaughter, Ashlyn Brook Johnson; her sisters, Gloria (Silas) Manning, Kay (Chuck) Ferguson; nieces and nephews, Timothy Dean Spicer, Pam Harrelson, Paul Manning, Scott Manning; great niece and great nephew, Danielle Harrelson, Landon Spicer. A celebration of life will be Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Auction House Weddings and Events, 1105 Flint Hill Rd., East Bend, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brenner’s Children Hospital in Winston Salem.
