Sanford "Carl" Hoots

Sanford “Carl” Hoots, 77, passed away Saturday November 17, 2018. He was born September 20, 1941 to the late Augustine and Eva Belle Reavis Hoots. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Gerald Hoots, Herbert Hoots. Surviving are two daughters Regina (Dustin) Clontz, Sandy (Ken) Pittman; grandchildren Garrett Blevins, Corey Brill, Chase Pittman (Mandy Brown), Carter Pittman; great granddaughter Olivia Edwards; sister Addie Beeker; brothers John Hoots, Jim Hoots; special niece Wanda Harrington; special nephew Tommy Poindexter; beloved mother of his children; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM at Gentry family Chapel by Rev. Joe Souther and Rev. Justin Crouse. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens with Full Military Service by the NC National Guard and the VFW Post 10346.
