Sarah Bullis Mabe

Sarah Bullis Mabe, 73, was called home by her heavenly Father on October 5, 2022 in Woodbridge, Va. She was the daughter of William James Bullis and Lemmie Johnson Bullis of Eastbend, NC. Sarah was the loving mother of two sons: Mike Mabe and Chris Mabe. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren whom she loved very much: Damon Mabe, Jada Mabe, Kristian Mabe, Charity Mabe, Isaac Mabe, Harrison Miller, and Eli Miller. Additionally, the Lord blessed her with two loving daughters in law: Hope Mabe and Jessica Mabe. Sarah also cherished special relationships with her cousin Judy and several nursing friends. Her deep love for children led her to become a pediatric nurse at Baptist Hospital where she served at Brenner’s Children Hospital for more than a decade until she became a legal nurse consultant later in life. Sarah’s wish for others as they hear of her passing was that they would celebrate her life and rejoice that she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus. A memorial service will be held for Sarah Mabe on November 5, 2022 at 2pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service, 5108 US 601 Hwy, Yadkinville, NC 27011, and the family will meet friends thirty minutes before the service at the funeral home.
