Sarah Frances Pardue Benton

Jonesville – Sarah Frances Pardue Benton, 82, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Monday, December 2, 2024. She was born November 10, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Gathis Lee Pardue and Ruby Sprinkle Pardue. Sarah was a member at Fall Creek Baptist Church. She was a joy to everyone she came across. She enjoyed her flowers, tennis, bowling, golf, and a little karate over her life, but most of all she loved her family, friends, and special companion, Barney. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lewis; brother, Gene Pardue; sister-in-law, Pamela Smith; brothers-in-law, Spencer Harris, Rudy Lewis; niece, Dawn Rierson. She is survived by her husband Samuel Leeroy Benton; son, Randy (Cindy) Benton; sister, Rosa Lee Harris; brother, Rev. Jerry (Dorothy) Pardue; sister-in-law, Shelby Pardue, Glenda (Don) Groce. Her graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 5, 2024 by the Rev. Jerry Pardue, and the Rev. Don Hudson. Family would like to give a sincere thank you to all the staff at Medi – Home Health and also a special thanks to Laura, Julie, and Anna.
