Scott Anthony Murray

Mr. Scott Anthony Murray, 48, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023. He was born in Miami, Florida on December 16, 1974 to Bobby Gene and Elizabeth Murray. Scott grew up in Las Vegas, but currently lived in Yadkin County, North Carolina. He enjoyed singing and doing karaoke. Scott always knew how to make people laugh. He was so friendly, and he never met a stranger. Scott had a great heart and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be extremely missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Vars. He is survived by two sons, Joel Graydon and Kekoa Ayers; siblings, Robert (Ollie) Murray, Michael (Donna) Murray, Tammy Dean, and Mark (Lenitta) Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
