Sharon Holman Mabe

Sharon Holman Mabe, age 59, gained her wings on Sunday, July 22, 2018 surrounded by her family at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Mabe was one of four daughters of Roy and Ethelene Sparks Holman of Jonesville.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law J.D. Mabe and her grandparents.  Mrs. Mabe is survived by her husband of 41 years, Eddie Mabe and one daughter and son-in-law, Kristy (Jeff) Brown of Boonville.  Also surviving are three sisters, Robin (David) Cox, Teresa Holman and Diane Marshall; her mother-in-law Irene Mabe; brother-in-law Jerry (Susan) Mabe, and sisters-in-law, Trisha (Craig) Casstevens and Lynn (Dariel) Russell and several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville, with services following at 11:00 am Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the Chapel, with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at West Yadkin Cemetery.  Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 320 W.
