Shelba Hunt Harton

Tobaccoville – Shelba Jean Hunt Harton, 85, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024. She was born February 25, 1939 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Madison Hunt and Mattie Pauline Taylor Hunt. Shelba was a member of East Bend Friends Church. She retired from Jody Puckett - State Farm Insurance Agency. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Binky Lee Gregory; and a brother, Micheal Pinnix. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Harton; son, David (Alison) Harton; grandchildren, Sierra (Josh) Renee Foss, Sydney Grace Harton; sister, Pam (Billy) Taylor; brothers, Joe (Brenda) Hunt, Robert (Sherry) Hunt; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. A private service will be held at a later time.
