Sheryl Allen Morrison

Yadkinville Ms. Sheryl Lynn Allen Morrison, 55, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at her home. Ms. Morrison was born January 4, 1967 in Boise Idaho to Ray Allen and Jessie McCall Talbert. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family. In addition to her parents, Ms. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Nance and sister, Ginger Allen. She is survived by her two children, Laura (Curtis) Opekun and Jeromy (Cassandra) Nance; grandchildren, Tanner Dean Opekun, Katelyn Rose Opekun, and Randal Dean Nance; her father, Arlie Mitchem; a sister, Lisa (Mark) Stokes; a brother, Randal (Krysten) Mitchem; nieces and nephew, Amelia, Olivia and Hunter; and her special friends, Wilma Hill, Melinda Bell, and Ronald Sizemore. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, January 6, 2023 at Iredell Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Morrison family.
