Mrs. Shirley Marie Woodard Buelin Boger, 80, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Boger was born March 5, 1942 in Wilson County to the late William Rufus Woodard, and Elizabeth Finn Woodard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Jackie Kenneth Buelin; second husband, Ned Vaughn Boger; granddaughter, Stormie Buelin; 7 sisters, and 5 brothers. Shirley was a member of Northwood Baptist Church, where she loved attending and worshipping God. She also loved going to auctions, waitressing, and she was an animal lover. She is survived by her children, Diane (Dennis) Shore, Lorraine (Randy) Hardison, Vickie (Jimmy) Tucker, Debbie (Kenneth) Tucker, Tammy (Tommy) Brown, Tony Buelin, (Kent Sprinkle); grandchildren, Kim (Mark) Stiller, Tracie (Stuart) Shore, Randall (Julie) Hardison, Daniel (Ashley) Hardison, Jay Hardison, Christopher Hutchens, Sybol Hutchens, Kent Sprinkle, Mylia (John) Pittman, Hannah Brown, Ashley Buelin, Destiny (Darshanna) Poe, Kortney Buelin; 29 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 4:00PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Pastor Tim Webb and Brother John Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in the Northwood Baptist Church cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center, ICU nurses, for the loving care shown to Mrs. Boger and her family.
