Yadkinville-  Ms. Shirley Ann Willard Branson, 79, of Hemlock Street passed away peacefully Monday, October 18, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born May 15, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Luther Franklin and Lola Beth Driver Willard.  Ms. Branson worked in several different departments of Forsyth County Government for 32 years before retiring in the County Fleet Division.  She attended Green Meadows Baptist Church of Farmington for several years and had been a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Yadkinville.  Ms. Branson loved everyone, and especially loved spending time with her family especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Chester Lee Branson, Jr.; her 4 brothers, Henry Calvin Willard, Edward Dean Willard, Paul Edward Willard, and Charlie Frank Willard.  Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Kaye Branson Adams and husband, Mark of Advance; her sons, Timothy Wayne Branson, Sr., and fiancé, Victoria of Kernersville; Steven Dale Branson of Louisiana; Grandchildren, Cameron Brett Adams and wife, Kellyn of Tennessee; Landon Blake Adams, Timothy Wayne Branson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Hudson Lee Adams, Maisyn Kate Adams, Malachi Ulysses Pridgen; and several nieces; a special nephew, James Franklin Willard; and her special friend, Tom Cornatzer.  The family will receive friends from 10 AM – 12 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at 12:30 PM Saturday at Mt.
