Stella Baity Hutchens

Yadkinville Mrs. Stella Leigh Baity Hutchens, 81, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Hutchens was born December 8, 1935 in Yadkin County to Dewey and Sarah Shore Baity. She was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. Stella enjoyed cooking for her family, flowers, and canning, but most of all, she adored her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutchens was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Luther Baity; and four sisters, Ruby Shore, Ethel Jolley, Nellie Cranfill, and Nancy Eddleman. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ray Marvin Hutchens, Jr.; three children, Mitchell (Debra) Hutchens, Brian (Danyl) Hutchens, and Ricky Hutchens; six grandchildren, Dean (Dawn) Hutchens, Travis Hutchens, Kyle Hutchens, Chris Hutchens, Krisie (Jimmy) Gardner, Shelly and Tiffany; two step grandchildren, Lucas (Melia) Tysinger and Channing Tysinger; five great grandchildren, Hayden, Gabriel and Melanie Hutchens, Kylie Gardner, and Wyatt Tysinger; one sister, Frances (Wayne) Myers; two brothers, Harold (Linda) Baity and Charles (Thelma) Baity; and one sister-in-law, Pauline Baity. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Joe Souther officiating. Burial will follow at Forbush Baptist Church.
