Steven Wesley Choplin

Boonville Mr. Steven Wesley Choplin, 69, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Choplin was born November 5, 1948 in Guilford County to the late John and Ruth Johnson Choplin. He was a member of Union Cross Friends Church. His life was full of Jesus and music.   Mr. Choplin is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Janet Brown Choplin; three daughters, Stephanie (Ron) Osborne, Amy (Stephen) Mason, and April (Kip) Miller; six grandchildren, Ericka, Jerrad, Brett, Noah, Kaleb, and Eden; three sisters, Brenda (Granvel) Boyd, Kathy Jester (Barry Ramsey), and Mary (Fred) Ball; and two brothers, Mike (Carolyn) Choplin and Joe (Carolyn) Choplin. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday April 16, 2018 at Union Cross Friends Church with Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger and Dr. Robin Dixon, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Sunday evening at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin, 243 N. Lee Avenue Yadkinville, NC 27055.
