Eugene Eldridge

Steven Eugene Eldridge, 69, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was born June 27, 1949 in Blue Field, West Virginia to the late Garland Lee Eldridge and Helen Louise Sesser Eldridge. In addition to his parents Mr. Eldridge was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Eugene was employed with 21 Motors with over 20 years of service. He enjoyed helping Ted Ashley with fish fry’s at many churches over the years. He is survived by his son Rodney Eldridge (Becky Shore); daughter Teresa Eldridge Carter; grandchildren Heather Eldridge Neal (Walter), Jonathan Carter, Jake Carter (Andrea), Courtney Loflin, Brittany Anderson; great-grandchildren Elijah Dean Carter, Ian Kane Carter, Bentley Loflin, Macey Gilpin, Payton Tolladay, Jordan Tolladay, Kensley Tolladay; 4 sisters; 4 brothers. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 15, 2019, 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hanes Grove UMC church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service.
