Sudy Gregory Jarvis

North Wilkesboro Mrs. Sudy Ann Gregory Jarvis, 70, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Jarvis was born October 19, 1946 in Iredell County to Orville and Minnie Cass Gregory. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Windy Gap. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jarvis was preceded in death by her husband, David Leon Jarvis; one sister, Erma Lou Flincham; and two brothers, Albert and Ralph Gregory. She is survived by two daughters, Regina (Mark) Wood and Pamela (Jonathan) Arnold; four grandchildren, Randa, Garrett and Braden Wood and Bret Arnold; one sister, Mattie (Jackie) Gregory; one brother, Rayford Gregory; a special aunt, Nellie Gregory; and a special cousin, Rose Lee Souther. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Monday, June 12, 2017 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Souther, Rev. Doug Goforth, and Rev. Benny Romans officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00AM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road Dobson, NC 27017. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Woltz Hospice Home and Mtn.
