Susan Lashmit Wadkins

Winston Salem Mrs. Susan Diane Lashmit Wadkins, 66, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Kernersville Medical Center. Mrs. Wadkins was born August 31, 1954 in Forsyth County to Fred and Mildred Day Lashmit. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wadkins was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby H. Wadkins; a sister, Joann Wishon; and four brothers, Paul Lashmit, Fred “Dick” Lashmit, Ronnie Lashmit, and James “Jim” Lashmit. She is survived by two daughters, Shree Childress and Jennie Rachel; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Jowanna McBride; and a brother, Donnie (Freida) Lashmit. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Kernersville Medical Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Wadkins. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Wadkins family.
