Teresa Cook Taylor

Boonville Mrs. Teresa Lynn Cook Taylor, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Taylor was born July 23, 1956 in Wilkes County to Ledford & Mary Cook. She was a member of Boonville Baptist Church and retired as a dental assistant after 42 years with many special work friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Teresa loved visiting the beach as often as she could. Her greatest joy was being the best “GiGi” to Kase. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Kenneth “Kenny” Taylor; two children, Bart (Beth) Taylor, Mary Katherine Taylor & fiancé Corey Burton; grandson, Kase Taylor; brother, Wayne (Carolyn) Cook; two nieces, Melissa Lakey and Alison (Eric) Ball; great nephew and nieces, Broze Lakey, Adan Lakey, Alexis Ball, and Natalie Ball; and special friends, Sharon Brown, Chris Huff, Mechelle Crissman, Mariena Shore and Sharon Curtis. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Boonville Baptist Church with Rev. John Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor will be available to pay your respects Wednesday, Dec. 23rd from 8:00AM to 12:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
