Thomas "Jack" David Webb

East Bend – Thomas David “Jack” Webb, 87, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was born May 28, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late John Andy Webb and Annie Hobson Webb.  He retired from Hanes/Sara Lee after 37 years of service.   Jack was a member at Forbush Friends Meeting.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Nell Stimpson, Betty Nichols, and Syble Whitman.  Surviving are his children, Beverly (Chris) Wallace, Jennifer (Jon) Hoots), Jackie (Mike) Baity, John (Dena) Webb, Scott (Hope) Webb; grandchildren, Jake, Jared, Jesse, Ben, Tara, Thad, Beau, Evan, Emily, Kristy, Jessica; great grandchildren, Ellie, Annie Kate, Maggie, Abby, Caroline, Jackson, Faith, Halle, Felicity, Oliva, Thomas, Maliyah, Tylin, Kyra, Kylie, Kayla; sister, Donna Sue Webb; and several nieces and nephews.  His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Forbush Friends Meeting by the Rev. Ray Lambe and the Rev. Jared Hoots.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, on Tuesday at Forbush Friends Meeting.  Memorials can be made to Forbush Friends Meeting, 4460 Forbush Road, East Bend, NC  27018.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Webb family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
