Thomas Buford King

Thomas Buford King, 82, passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 7, 1938 in Yadkin County, NC; son of the late; Isom Thomas King and Vertie Groce King. He was preceded in death by other than his parents, wife; Mildred Armstrong King, sister, Catherine Jones, brothers, Clyde and Frankie King. Survivors include his children; Randall King (Kim) and Lynette King Holbrook (Darryl Lyon), brother, Charles King, grandchildren, Stephanie Burns (Eric), Garrett Holbrook (Megan) and Molly Holbrook; great grandchildren, Hunter Burns, Parker Burns, Emersyn Holbrook and Ella Holbrook. He was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church, where he loved attending and enjoyed meeting his buddies at Bojangles. A celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm from Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Thomas can be viewed on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:00 to 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fall Creek Baptist Church cemetery with military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10436. Memorials may be made to Fall Creek Baptist Church building fund.
