Thomas Michael "Doc" Savage

Thomas Michael “Doc” Savage, 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday August 1, 2022. He was born July 10, 1947 to James Henry Savage and Mary Jo Pickrell Savage. Mr. Savage served in the US Navy. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church. Mr. Savage enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his father; brother Terry Savage and a special nephew Matthew Bentley. Surviving are his wife Barbara Cockerham Savage; mother Mary Jo Pickrell Savage; children Katrina McCann, Michael (Courtney) Savage; grandchildren Kayla McCann, Montana (Courtney) McCann, Cedar Savage, Juniper Savage; great grandson Hayden Williams; sister Carol Bentley; brothers Charles Savage, Neal (Wanda) Savage, Steven (Debbie) Savage, Greg (Susan) Savage. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Sunday August 7, 2022 at Charity Baptist Church. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday following the visitation at the church by Rev. Marty Nixon and Rev. Eddie Driver. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Full Military Honors by the US Navy Honor Guard and the VFW Post 10346. Memorials may be made to the Charity Youth and Children Program 1500 Charity Church Rd. Boonville, NC 27011 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
