Tina Cheek Blake

Yadkinville Mrs. Tina Cheek Blake, 51, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Forysth Medical Center. Mrs. Blake was born October 6, 1968 in Forsyth County to Cromer and Patricia Beale Cheek. She enjoyed reading books, writing her prayers in her journal and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blake was preceded in death by a brother, Bradford Cheek. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Robert Wayne Blake; three children, Katie Winters, Kristin (William) Raines, and Rob (Alexis) Blake; grandchildren, Abigail, Mason, Bentley, Ava, Sophia, Jaiden, Skylar, Aviana, and Aubrey; sisters, Stephanie Cheek, Selena (Jessie) McEwen, and Karen (Danny) Crews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Friday, November 29, 2019 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Isaac Propst officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church cemetery in Advance. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bear Creek Baptist Church, 492 Bear Creek Church Road, Mocksville, NC 27028. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center for the wonderful care, and to all the friends and family for the love and support.
