Yadkinville-  Mr. Tommy Ray Wiles, 80, of Bethel Church Road passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  He was born February 14, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late G. Bynum and Virginia Pearl Doss Wiles.  Mr. Wiles was retired from R.J. Reynolds Archer Company with over 33 years of service.  He was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved to spend time outside, working in his garden or fishing.  Mr. Wiles was a veteran of the US Navy serving on the U.S.S. Northampton.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Marsh; brothers, Jack Wiles, Herbert Wiles; great-grandson, Wyatt Eads; son-in-law, Clifford McCollum; brothers-in-law, Harlowe Marsh, Carl Cranfill; and sister-in-law, Ethel Wiles.  Surviving are his beloved wife of 63 years, Shirley Shore Wiles, of the home; daughters, Dianne (Tim) Eads, Elaine McCollum all of Yadkinville; son, Tim (Vickie) Wiles, Yadkinville; grandchildren, Julie (Sean) Brittain, Ryan (Melanie) Pinnix, Holly Lewis (Ed Parrish), Colin (Lauren) Eads; great-grandchildren, Brendan Brittain, Krista Brittain, Kinley Lewis; sister, Belle Cranfill, Yadkinville; brother, Grady (Polly) Wiles, Yadkinville.  His funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Lancaster and Rev. Josh Williams.  Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors by Yadkin VFW Post 10346.  The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside in the fellowship hall of Bethel Baptist Church.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin, 243 North Lee Avenue, Yadkinville, NC  27055.  The family would like to express their gratitude to  Dr. Carmichael, nurses and staff of the trauma unit of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for the loving care and support.  Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Wiles Family.  Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
