Tony Curtis Hayes

Jonesville – Tony Curtis Hayes, 67, went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2024 peacefully at his home with his family.   He was born November 14, 1956 in Surry County to the late Curtis and JoAnne Burton Hayes.  He is survived by his wife Rebecca Creed Hayes; son, Thomas (Jenna) Hayes of Taylorsville; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Patricia (Rick) Walker of Mtn Park, Joyce Cothren of Mtn Park; sister-in-law, Patty Fields of Hillsville VA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby Jo and Rosie Lynch of Yadkinville; father in law, Homer Creed; mother in law, Shelbie Creed and several nieces and nephews.  His funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Fall Creek Baptist Church by the Rev Don Hudson.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pruitt Hospice of Wilkesboro, 924 Main St. Ste 100, North Wilkesboro, NC  28659.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Hayes family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
