Vallie Cook Trexler

Jonesville Mrs. Vallie Mae Cook Trexler, 91, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Chatham Nursing Center. Mrs. Trexler was born November 1, 1928 in Yadkin County to Dewitt and Margie Hayes Cook. She was a member of Swan Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trexler was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Gordon Trexler; a son, Alvin Trexler; and several siblings. She is survived by five children, Patricia (Fuzzy) Myers, Barbara Shaw, Debbie Baggett, Sandra (Holland) Jolley, and Allen (Vonda) Trexler; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday, October 12, 2020 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Scott Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Swan Creek Baptist Church cemetery. She will be available for viewing from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville.
