Vera “Lynn” Lyndol Haynes

Ms. Vera “Lynn” Lyndol Haynes, 91, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at her home. Ms. Haynes was born July 16, 1932 to the late Oren Toler Haynes and Gladys West Haynes. 

In addition to her parents, Ms. Haynes was preceded in death by her extended family, William “John” Wingate Gentry and Martha Ruth Shore Gentry, Timothy Wayne Gentry and Carolyn “Ginny” Virginia Herndon Gentry.

She is survived by her extended family, Johnnie Lynn Gentry, Ben (Alicia) Gentry, Molly (Patrick) Fitzsimons, Nick Gentry, and several special cousins.  

A graveside service to celebrate Vera’s life will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Center Memorial Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Haynes family.
