Vickie Irene Speer Brown

Mrs. Vickie Irene Speer Brown, 65, passed away Yadkin Nursing Center on Thursday June 23, 2022. She was born in Forsyth County, NC on February 18, 1957; loving daughter of Leroy Speer and Pansy Cave Speer, other than her parents, she is survived by her husband, Vernon Ray Brown, her step children; Marsha Patterson and Kenneth Brown (Davean) and 2 step grandchildren; Dawson Brown and Todd Patterson. She was a life long member of Faith Community Baptist Church in East Bend, worked many years at Hanes Dye and Finishing Company and was an avid Carolina Tarheel sports fan. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 26, 2022 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. A graveside celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday June 26, 2022 at Faith Community Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
