Virgie Bell Jarvis

North Wilkesboro Mrs. Virgie Lee Bell Jarvis passed October 31, 2021 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice. She was born in Wilkes County, the daughter of Coy and Corabell Bell. She was raised in the Little Brushy Mountains. She had six brothers, Kyle Bell, Alvin Bell, Seavon Bell, Raymond Bell, James Bell, and Stevie Bell. Virgie retired from RJR Tobacco Co. and continued to farm until her death. She was married to Filbert C. Jarvis, deceased. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Della Annette Jarvis Gitter and husband Bret A. Gitter; sons, William (Bert) Jarvis and wife Rachael, and Fred C. Jarvis; and her beloved grandchildren, Hannah, Chelsie, and Lyndsey Jarvis. A graveside service will be held at 12:00PM, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Windy Gap on November 6, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Jarvis family.
