Virginia Mae Wishon

Virginia Mae Wishon, 94, passed away Wednesday August 30, 2017. She was born December 24, 1922, to Isaac Abraham and Ada Wilkins Wishon. She was a lifelong homemaker and was a member of Courtney Baptist Church. Surviving are four children from her 30-year marriage to Sanford Clay Dalton: Bonnie (Graham) Robinson, Bob (Sue) Dalton, and Brenda Dalton of Yadkinville; and David Dalton of Danbury. Also surviving is a sister, Marie Carter; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Courtney Baptist Church. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, any memorials be made to the cemetery fund at Courtney Baptist Church. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Wishon family.
