Vivian Smith Reid

East Bend – Vivian Leigh Smith Reid, 79, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023.  She was born June 5, 1944 in Forsyth County to the late Benbow Preston Smith and Verna Petree Smith.  Vivian drove a school bus for 48 years all for Yadkin County Schools.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Smith.  Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Jimmie Dell Reid; daughters, Tammy (Lorne) Temple, Sandra Reid, Robin (Bradley) Smith, Vickie (Darrell) Wooten; grandchildren, Kyle (Lauren) Temple, Ben Temple, Jason Sizemore, Nikita Sizemore, Matthew Wooten, Michael (Sidney) Wooten, Wyatt (Stephanie) Wooten, Taylor (Hunter) Wooten, Bayleigh Wooten, Michael Smith, Oliva Smith, Madison Smith; great grandchildren, Hailey Wooten, Oliver Wooten, Dallas Wooten, Rhett Temple; sister, Susanne (Sharon) Smith; brother, Edward (Carol) Smith; special sister-in-law, Mattie (Claiborn) Bennett; special niece, Sharon Marion; and several other nieces and nephews.  Her funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Enon Baptist Church by the Rev.
