William H. Odell

William H. Odell., 91, of East Bend NC passed away Friday September 1, 2023. Bill was born in New Haven, CT, on August 18, 1932 to the late William Hayden Odell and Flora Odell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son James Odell. Surviving are his wife Rosie Murray Odell; daughter Beth Ann Ham; four sisters in law Barbara Ann (Kenny) Coleman, Debra (Jeff) Weaver, Jackie Lambert, Margie Murray; one brother in law Malcolm (Belkie) Murray; many nieces and nephews. Bill had many hobbies that he enjoyed. He attended college at University of Pennsylvania Wharton school. He owned his own business WH Odell & Associates Actuary Service in Winston-Salem for many years. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Baltimore Global Methodist Church. His funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 5, 2023 following the visitation at the church by Pastor Bruce Updyke. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bill and Rosie traveled the world over together. This trip he will go alone. She will miss him. Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend is serving the Odell family,
