Walter Everett Anders

Walter Everett Anders, 73, passed away Sunday morning, August 4,2024 at Forsyth Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1950 in Forsyth to the late Mick and Ruth Anders. He loved the Atlanta Braves, Ford vehicles, Nascar, baseball cards and matchbox cars. He loved watching television and going to the beach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded death of his brothers Steve Anders, Jessie Anders, Rocky Anders and his brother-in-law Pete Grimes. Walter is survived by two sisters Darnell Grimes, Brenda Whitaker and husband Lewis Whitaker. He also is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30PM Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A private burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
