Walter Craig "Mo" Shores

Walter Craig “Mo” Shores, 51, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

He was born in Yadkin County on August 19, 1971 to Clyde and Toledo “Edie” Shores.

Mo grew up in Elkin, NC, but he currently resided in Yadkinville, NC with his family. He loved dirt track racing and wrestling. Mo enjoyed going to watch his brother race. He enjoyed playing his game, and he loved life. Everyone who had the special privilege to know him will miss him very much.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Shores (Nance) and a nephew, Jeremy Shores.

He is survived by brothers, Tony (Marjetta) Shores and Blake (Miriam) Shores; sister, Tonya (Jonathan) Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Welcome Valley Baptist Church with Brother Rudy Posey officiating.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to Jamie, Julie, Rachel, and Dana with Mountain Valley Hospice for the compassionate care given to Mo and his family.
