Wanda Wagoner Robbins

Hamptonville Wanda Wagoner Robbins, age 67, passed away May 14, 2018. She was born on April 17, 1951 in Surry County to the late Ransom and Doretha Wagoner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Jesse “Bubba” McEwen. She is survived by her husband Wayne Robbins; children D. Lynn Robbins (Jesse McEwen), Chris Robbins (Bridgette); grandchildren James “Shorty” McEwen (Heather), Nicole Eldred (Jeffery), Jesse “Jack” McEwen, Micah McDaniels (Ben), Dalton Robbins; great-grandchildren Jesse “George” McEwen, Dakota Eldred, Marshall McEwen, Dawson Eldred; sister Carolyn Cooper (Billy). Mrs. Robbins was a member of Swaim’s Baptist Church. At her request, a graveside service will be conducted Wednesday May 16, 2018, 11:00 AM at Swaims Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice for the exceptional care given to Mrs. Robbins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn.
