Wayne Bennett McCormick

McCormick Boonville – Wayne Bennett McCormick, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.  He was born October 5, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late Boyd Edmond McCormick and Lucy Pratt McCormick.  Wayne was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church.  He retired from Unifi and also retired from Fall Creek Volunteer Fire Department.  Surviving is his wife, Helen Draughn McCormick; children, Susan (Mark) Hutchens, Gary (Tammy) McCormick, Todd (Jennifer) McCormick; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hutchens, Bailey (Kevin) Brown, Emma McCormick, Tyler (Stephanie) McCormick, Tori (Nick) Doub; great grandchildren, Cheyenne McCormick, Silas Brown, Cam Doub; sisters, Lois Cornelius, Cathy Sparks; brothers, Paul McCormick, Lloyd McCormick; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.  His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church by the Rev.
