Wayne Keith Myers

Wayne Keith Myers, age 75, passed away August 19, 2021. He was born March 18, 1946 in Davidson County to the late Fred William Myers and Mary Belle Williams Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Myers, Eugene Myers, Bob Myers, and one sister Frances Hill. Mr. Myers is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Baity Myers; three sons, Richard “Richie” (Diane) Myers, Kenneth (Krystle) Myers, and Danny (Lisa) Myers; grandchildren, Brett Myers, Zachary Myers, Zoe Myers, James, and Jamie; great-grandson, Jackson Lee; brother, Harold (Ann) Myers. Wayne was employed with Modern Chevrolet for 20 plus, years, and he was the owner of Wayne’s Automotive. He was a drag racer, having raced several years at Farmington Drag Strip, where he was on the “Wall of Fame”. The family will receive friends at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville, Monday, August 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Turners Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:30 AM. The family would like to thank Trellis Hospice Home Care for the loving care shown to Wayne.
