Mr. Wesley Dewitt Tuttle, 73, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2019, at the Durham V.A. Medical Center/Hospice. He was born in Forsyth County on December 16, 1945 to the late Harry David and Sally Fannie Noah Tuttle. Mr. Tuttle proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Army in the Vietnam War. During his eventful life, he retired from Roadway Express, was involved in numerous church activities, and as of late, he was Pastor of Faith Chapel Church and a Minister to all who knew him. He was a great Husband, Father, and Grandfather, and loved his wife, children, and grandchildren unconditionally. He will be missed and loved by his family and friends, his nieces and nephews, and all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Joyce, two children, Greg (Leandra) Tuttle of Yadkinville, Sherry (Mark) Thompson of Yadkinville, brother Paul (Kathy) Tuttle of Pinnacle, grandchildren, August Tuttle, Trayton Tuttle, Leanna-Rose Tuttle, Natalie Martin, Michael Martin, and Cody Thompson. There will be a private family memorial service at a later date. Flowers can be sent to the home or donations may be made to the Durham VA Medical Center/Hospice. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at the Church of The Living God (3995 Vienna Dozier Rd. Pfafftown, NC 27040) at 4:00pm Sunday February 17, 2019. Flowers may be sent to Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church of Living God.
