William "Bill" Joseph Andershock

Lewisville Mr. William “Bill” Joseph Andershock, 78, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at his home. Mr. Andershock was born October 4, 1942 in Porter County, Indiana to Norbert and Genevieve Hyska Andershock. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, anything related to the Old West, and exploring Arizona which was his beloved home for 40 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Andershock was preceded in death by a step son, Kim Kirby; a sister, Diana Lee; and a special K-9 companion, BJ. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Elen Jonquil Andershock; a daughter, Genevieve (Ken) McCauley; a step son, Daniel (Christine) Kirby; grandchildren, Scott, Matthew, & Karl Kirby, Jack, Annabelle, and Josephine McCauley; two great grandchildren, Hunter & Thea Kirby; a brother-in-law, Thomas Lee; and his very special pets, Ginger and Callie. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00PM, Monday, April 5, 2021 at the home of Bill & Elen, 7685 Sedgewick Ridge Road, Lewisville, NC 27023. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UUFWS, 4055 Robinhood Rd, Winston Salem, NC 27106, United States. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Trellis of Forsyth County and their team of caregivers for the wonderful, loving care given to Mr. Andershock. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Andershock family.
