William "Chris" Christopher Shore

Winston Salem Mr. William Christopher “Chris” Shore, 66 passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 in St. Louis, MO. Chris was born June 1, 1951 in Surry County to the late William Fred Shore and Sue Johnson Cox. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and hunting. Chris is survived by a sister, Cathy Crosby; two nieces, Suzanne Crosby and Donna Dowdle; two great nephews, Peyton and Spencer Dowdle; an aunt, Peggy Vestal; and an uncle, Ray Shore. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Asbury UMC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC  27103.
