William Edward "Will" Poindexter

Winston-Salem Will Poindexter passed away December 14, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Will packed a lot of living into 68 years, mostly on the seat of Harley Davidson and BMW motorcycles traveling across the United States and Canada. He had several careers, ultimately deciding to be his own boss. Until his passing, Will owned his own landscaping business, devoting himself to his elderly customers. He also devoted himself to his mother, Betty, which allowed her to live at home. Will was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Lee Poindexter Jr. As said by Eleanor Roosevelt, “Many people walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints on your heart.” To the family and true friends touched by Will’s enthusiasm for life and his generosity, celebrate his life with a special memory. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Thanks To Calvary Church, 4209 Union Hill Road, East Bend, NC 27018 with Rev. Marty Wood officiating.
