Boonville Mr. William “Henry” Driver, 80, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Willowbrook Nursing & Rehab Center. Mr. Driver was born May 12, 1938 in Yadkin County to Lonnie and Lessie Combs Driver. He was a member of Boonville Baptist Church. Mr. Driver retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after 36 years of service and was the co-owner of Drivers Exxon for over 20 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Driver was preceded in death by a daughter, Montine Driver; two sisters, Katie Lee Holyfield and Dorothy Weldy; and two brothers, Albert Driver and Junior Driver. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret Brown Driver; a son, Tim (Cyndi) Driver; three grandchildren, Magan Driver (Joe Neal), Kara (Matt) Renegar, and Kinsey Driver; four great grandchildren, Hudson Renegar, Kyler & Kayden Jessup, and Kolby Neal; two sisters, Inez (Ted) Tilley and Lorene Murphy; one brother, CW (Gloria) Driver; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. John Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Margaret Driver, PO Box 295 Boonville, NC 27011 to assist the family with her ongoing care.
