William "Junior" Allen Comer

Yadkinville – William “Junior” Allen Comer, 88, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022. He was born April 11, 1933 in Yadkin County to the late William Allen Comer, Sr. and Ruby Chappell Comer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, JoAnn Comer, Fannie Allen, Nancy Mayfield; brothers, Jerry Ray Comer, Billy Comer. Surviving is his wife, Hattie Wilkins Comer; children, Jerry (Barbara) Comer, Phyllis Comer; grandchildren, Heather (Aaron) Wyrick, Jonathan (Kristie) Comer, Amber (Terry) Foster, William Brown, great grandchildren, Adalyn Wyrick, Dakota Wyrick, Brayden Wyrick, Ryan Brown, Sylar Comer, Lakyn Comer, Zackary Foster, Gabriel Foster; sister, Ollie Comer Myers; and several nieces and nephews. His graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Chris Hauser with full military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside from 10:00 to 11:00AM at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
