Boonville – Wilma Sue Morefield Nations, 77, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born October 23, 1947 in Surry County to the late Claude Everette Morefield and Ila Davis Morefield. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Edith Morefield; nephew, Jonathan Morefield. She is survived by her husband, Larry Willie Nations; children, Darren (Kim) Nations, Darrell (Renee) Nations, Angie (Barry) Whitaker, Leslie Nations; grandchildren, Tyler (Hannah Athan) Nations, Peighton (Blaine) Casstevens, Karie (Josh) Matthews, Caleb (Dakota Hardy) Nations, Emily (Lucas Payne) Whitaker, Dalton Nations, Abigail Nations, Austin (Justice) Heath, Kayla (Casey Mickles) Heath, Jessica (Wake) Ransom; several great grandchildren and more on the way; brother, Bill (Wanda) Morefield. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Luke Money and the Rev. Will Hamric. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Thursday at Richmond Hill Baptist Church.
