Wynnette Benge Sizemore

On March 23, 2023, Heaven received the most precious angel on Earth, "Winnie" Wynette Benge Vanhoy Sizemore, 78, of West Main Street passed away peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born in Iredell County to the late Earl Ransom and Bertha Moore Benge.  Mrs. Sizemore worked at Hanes Hosiery and Food Lion in Yadkinville for several years.  She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and attended Believers Baptist Church in Yadkinville.  She was the most loving, happiest, carefree, and giving mother, grandmother, and friend that has ever been.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her 8 brothers and sisters, Sadie Benge (Bill) Dillard, Carl (Luna) Benge, Clay (Eula) Benge, Lois Benge (John) Floyd, Lou Nell Benge (Burrell) Shaver, Dwight (Myrtle) Benge, Ralph (Della) Benge, Earlene Benge (Tom) Greene.  Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Vanhoy Pyles; son-in-law, Jeff Pyles; grandchildren, Sophia Lenay Pyles, Allison Marie Pyles; a brother, Clifton (Barbara) Benge; loving husband, William "Bill" Vanhoy; special friends, Darrell Poteat, scout master, Frank Patterson, Joe and Denise Holt,  and troop 655;  and numerous loved nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday at Believers Baptist Church.  Her funeral service will follow the visitation in the church at 3 PM Sunday by Rev.
