Jackie Lee Reeves

Jackie Lee Reeves, 86, passed away Saturday June 10, 2023. He was born April 5, 1937 in Forsyth County to the late Clarence Jerome Reeves and Hazel Elledge Reeves. Mr. Reeves was retired from R J Reynolds after 33 years of service. He was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Reeves enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, bluegrass music, bluegrass festivals and most of all spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Linda Sue Boyd, Sandra Armstrong; brother Richard Reeves. Surviving are his wife Magdalene Shaffner Reeves; sons Michael (Lisa) Reeves, Timothy (Allison) Reeves; grandson Mitchell (Megan) Reeves; great grandchildren Lucy Reeves, Luke Reeves; brother- in- laws Jim Boyd, Bobby Armstrong, Dewitt Shaffner; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Tuesday June 13, 2023 at Fall Creek Baptist Church. Funeral service to follow the visitation 2:00 PM in the Church by Rev. Don Hudson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donation made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N.
